I’ve installed Woocommerce to an existing website some days ago and everything works fine, but there is no dropdown menue shown on the product page.
I want to use Woo as a product catalog without any order form or checkout cart. So I’ve disabled all the payment options.

I’ve set up some variable products for testing (like balloons) following a step-by-step instructing for this procedure. But still there is no drop down menue to choose the variations from. The different colours are just shown in plain text (as you can see in screenshot #1).

As a test I have some balloons I sell in different colours and wanted to use the colour attribute for the variations.

I already deactivated all my plug-ins one by one to see if one of them causing a problem. But no effect.

Here are some screenshots from the product page and the product set up page in the backend:
How it looks on the frontend: https://ibb.co/rFr7dqY
    Variations: https://ibb.co/M9mF8Hn
    atributes of the variations: https://ibb.co/NjRQ9LF

    Some informations if needed:
    – WordPress 5.4
    – Impreza Theme
    – Woocommerce 4.0.1
    – PHP 7.3.16

Thanks in advance for your help.

    OK, I’ve found the problem:
the theme I#ve installed has a bug or doesn’t support dropdown menues.

I’ve installed now “Storefront”, the theme which is recommended by WooCommerce and… Voilá… all the colour options appeared in a drop down menue.

So, maybe this will help others who might have similar problems.
