I’m trying to export variable products to custom feed. I’m able to export but all products, parents and variations are exported on the same level and appear as variable products in the feed. Looking at product type give me “variable” for all, where it should be “variable” for the parents and “variations” for the variations.

When importing, it creates a variable product for each, e.g. even the variations become a “parent” product. is there a way to preserve the hierarchy?

  • Hi @ramajestudio,

Could you please provide more details about the specific merchant or platform for which you are trying to create the custom feed?

Knowing this information will help us better understand the requirements and determine if a solution is available within our plugin to preserve the hierarchy of variable products.

hi, we are not creating the link for a merchant but for a client running is own wordpress/woocommerce website.
we actually have a template site with multiple products we’d like to distribute accross a network of resellers. The idea is that when we add, remove or update a product on the platform, it reflects on resellers’ websites via the xml feed.

For that we need to preserve the structure of products and their respective variations.

    Hi @ramajestudio,

Could you please provide more details about the specific data feed structure and format required for the XML feed?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best Regards,
