    Hello
I’m using facebook for woocommerce plugin, have variable products, and all variables have an SKU. I don’t have SKU for a product only, but unique SKUs for each size and each color of a product.
I only get around 43% match rate in catalogue.
Only data source is plugin. When i had pixel as datasource, i got almost 100% match rate, but it didn’t read SKUs and whole catalogue was a bit mess.

How can i get better match rate, what am I doing wrong?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there, @urosk! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Only data source is plugin. When i had pixel as datasource, i got almost 100% match rate, but it didn’t read SKUs and whole catalogue was a bit mess.

Can you please clarify for us which plugin you are using?

And what exactly was the issue with pixel, can you give us more details?

I’m using facebook for woocommerce plugin, have variable products, and all variables have an SKU. I don’t have SKU for a product only, but unique SKUs for each size and each color of a product.

To confirm, you have the variations all set up separately, correct? Can you share screenshots of how you set it up so we can take a look? I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Have you looked at the variable products guide here to make sure it is set up as needed?

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

I use plugin Facebook for Woocommerce, current version 3.2.1.

Issue with pixel was, that whole catalogue was messy. Variable products was shown each one separately. So regarding my problem with clothes. Each size: S,M,L,XL size was shown separately. When i deleted pixel data source, the Facebook plugin imported products seamlessly. So each variable product is grouped like in website. Great example: https://snipboard.io/14dBX8.jpg

So now I only use WP-plugin data source. It works well, but in commerce manager i get few issues, despite everything is set up and works correctly.

Example: product with id 2872, has issue: https://snipboard.io/Xi1Hy2.jpg

But in catalog seems fine: https://snipboard.io/xDTeqI.jpg

Also same product in woocommerce: https://snipboard.io/z5jbTr.jpg

I’m attaching all necessary files, and also issues report in commerce manager, i used filebin: Filebin | plal019nlml5gxgb

    Hello urosk,

    Thank you for your reply.

There still seems to be an issue with the product sync.
To narrow down the cause of the problem, let’s focus on the product with ID 2872.
This might explain what is happening here.

Please go to this link and open the product edit page
    https://vevawear.si/wp-admin/post.php?post=2872&action=edit

After that, share screenshots of the product edit page with me.
I want to check the quantity and SKU of the variations in this product.

I look forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

    Hello urosk

    Thank you for your reply.

I have reviewed the product screenshots and everything looks fine here.

Let’s circle back to the product ID 2872.
Strangely, this product has an SKU in the WooCommerce but it is still displayed with ID.

To confirm, when you moved from Meta Pixel to Facebook for WooCommerce as a data source, did you delete the old items from the FB catalog?
If you did not, then I suggest manually removing all items from the catalog.
Once you do that, Facebook for WooCommerce will push a fresh feed update to the catalog.
Hopefully, this will fix the issue caused by the left over data from Meta Pixe.

Here is a guide for How to delete items from your catalog in Commerce Manager.

Let me know how it goes. ??

    Best regards.

    Hello Zubadir

Yes, actually, products variables has SKUs, but the actual product doesn’t have SKU, because i don’t have stock or it’s not possible to order the main product but only variables.

But in commerce manager all seems ok:
    https://snipboard.io/aGvWRY.jpg
Variables have ther own SKUs written in content ID.

Well history goes even further with commerce manager products and problems. First i used plugin CTX feed. But i got even worse match rate, only around 16%. So i completely deleted, also products in commerce manager.

After that i used pixel for a data source, and i have got very good match rate, almost 100%, but products in commerce manager were a mess. Some variable products were separate, and because of that, when i created Meta Ads and used catalogue content, it promoted specific size of a product. Therefore I completely deleted everything and went to Facebook for Woocommerce plugin, which synced perfectly with commerce manager, but i don’t get a good match rate.
So, yes, old products are already deleted, only plugin synced are left. I have 61 products which is correct:

    Hello urosk

Thank you for the detailed explanation.

I understand you deleted all the products at FB Commerce Manager and then synced the products again using Facebook for WooCommerce.

To confirm, you do not have any Meta Pixel code manually added to the site.
    Is this correct?

In the last screenshot, you have deleted some items from the catalog.
Did those deleted items also include the product ID 2872?
Please note that product ID 2872 is a variation of a main product (Variable product).

If you did not delete that product, then could you try removing it from the catalog?
I am trying to push a fresh feed update from WooCommerce to FB.
Hopefully, that will resolve this sync issue.

Let me know about your reply. ??

    Best regards.

    Hello Zubair

Yes, confirming. In my header script you can only find meta domain verification.
    https://snipboard.io/Empd4q.jpg

Yes, exactly. Deleted products and synced new from plugin.

Nothing was deleted, i still have #2872 product, this was just first page of products in the catalog

In the morning I deleted whole product with #2872 variable inside, and plugin synced it back. I left all a bit to sycnhronise, and issue with this product is still present. So that didn’t helped aswell.

    Any ideas?

    best regards

    Hello urosk,

Thank you for your continued patience.

    I noticed another thing.
The report that indicates the error, is about events recorded between 30 April to 06 May 2024.

    Hi @urosk

I’m thrilled to hear that you’re now seeing a 100% match rate! That’s fantastic news.

As for the issues you’re still seeing, they should indeed disappear soon. Sometimes, it can take a little time for the system to update and clear out any old issues fully.

Please continue to monitor your reports over the next few days, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance or if the issues persist.

Meanwhile, I will mark this thread as resolved. Should you have further inquiries, kindly create a new topic here.

    Thanks!
