Variable Product SKU Display

I just gotta say – thank you lorsabyan & samueljeden. you 2 saved my bacon after HOURS of wrestling w/ this code.

Guys,

I am not seeing product variation skus on a Woocommerce 2.0.12 install, I tried the earlier version code fix posted, but that just killed the product option drop-down, so is there a fix to make product variation skus show up on product display and also pass through into cart/order details for this latest version..?

However, I must say that this seems a bit odd to have to be messing with code to fix..? surely it’s a basic requirement for Woocommerce to have this working..?

interesting – possibly..:-) I changed my theme to twentytwelve and the product variation skus work just fine, so I assume it is a theme issue… so what needs done..?

Even with twentytwelve I am not seeing the sku passed through to the cart though…which is something that is required for order processing..the colour variaition is coming through but not the sku.

I am stuck in a problem any help will be highly appreciated, I am working on a site similar to https://www.buildasign.com, I have a designer by which I can make banners and by this designer I can store custom designed products to the database.

Now the problem is that I want to integrate this designer with the woo commerce shopping cart, I want that when a user design the banner with my designer that design can be added to my shopping cart, I am confused about where to store the newly designed banner in my database so that it can be used later by me.

Any reference link or help can be highly appreciated.
