Variable product error

    Good afternoon.
    The problem with displaying a variable product.
    There are 2 active parameters in the product settings: size and color. 31 variations.
    On the product page … When I select an item in the first parameter (size), inappropriate color variations are not eliminated in the second parameter.
    As a result, I see the message “Sorry, but there are no products matching your choice. Please choose a different combination.”
    It is not normal.
    Interestingly, in other variable products there is no such problem.
    Perhaps the problem is in a large number of variations, or in the fact that a product photo is attached to each variation …
    Please tell me how to fix the problem.

    In addition, I add that if the variation picture is not added to the pictures of this product, then when choosing a variation, such a picture is displayed not as the main photo of the product, but by the first reduced picture. This problem is widespread.

  • Hello,

    Maybe you haven’t created all the variation combinations of your attributes that’s why you are getting this message because this message will show only on one condition when the selected variation combination is not available means you have not created from product back-end.

    So please follow some steps: reach your product edit page
    product edit page -> variation tab ->click on variation tab

    And from there you can check how many variations you have created. And still, you are not able to solve this.

    Then,
    Click on the variation tab and at the top, the section you will get a dropdown in the drop-down you will get the option “create a variation from all attribute” https://www.dropbox.com/s/47cj6pzf2cd4yd5/Screenshot%20at%202019-11-06%2017-50-18.png?dl=0 here is the screenshot for your help so it will create all the variation combination and you will not get any error.

    I don’t understand why I need to create ALL the variations if I don’t have them and never will.
    I have 31 product variations in stock. And created in the product 31 variations. But in total in this product there are 65 possible variations. Why should I make another 34 empty variations?
    Moreover, in my other products this function works as it should.

    If you don’t want to use all variation combination then you can create variation according to your need one by one . And also you can compare your both the products and can find what you are missing in your product.
