variable product display on mobile devices Woocommerce, TwentyThirteen

Hopefully someone could help me with the following:
A webshop (Woocommerce) I’m working on uses only variable products and I can’t seem to get it properly displayed on a mobile device with a small screen (in my case iphone 5).

The variation dropdowns (2) display on the right side of the product image, the theme (Twenty Thirteen) is responsive but the variations stay there even when displayed on a smaller screen. What happens is the text in the dropdown menu is displayed vertical. When viewed on a small screen the page becomes twice as long just because of the ‘select options’ label. It’s a dutch website so I changed the label to ‘Kies’ (select) but it still looks messy.

What I would like to do: adjust my template so that when the screen is smaller than x (whichever measurment is easiest), the variation dropdowns should display below the product image.
