    Hi

    • The problem in short: although global attributes are defined and are in use (many years), the attributes are not show on facebook product page.
    • In the commerce manager, we see that the variations are defined, but without any indication for the difference in attributes / name.
    • Different variation weights *do* show. Meaning: if the default WC weight field is defined, it is shown.
    • We are using the the “Facebook for Woocommerce” latest version. Currently 3.0.7. WC/WP are fully updated

We can provide more data and access details

    Thanks!

    Hello @eddr,

Does every variation have a value? Meaning, no variation field is left to “Any variation”. More information about syncing variable products can be found here.

Could you also attach some screenshots to help us replicate the issue?

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Hi

Yes, all of them have a value.

How can I send you details in a secured manner?

    Thanks

    Hi,

To help you investigate, can you please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? You can send the report via https://pastebin.com/ and keep the file alive for some days while we look into it.

For screenshots, you may want to use https://snipboard.io – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Thank you.

    • I mean – I don’t want the info to show publicly. Can I send it via a more secured channel to you?

    Thanks

Another issue – when unpublishing a product – i.e. status: published => draft – Sometimes the product continues to be shown on the facebook Page.

More info : The facebook details (on the WP edit page) are not displayed, so no option to delete the product through the WP admin area.

    Hi,

    That is odd.

I understand your point, please note that the system status report does not have sensitive information. You can redact the website URL from it from privacy reasons, and you can upload the report via https://pastebin.com/ and keep it alive for some days while we check into it. Then we’ll be glad to check this further for you.

    Hello,

Thanks for sharing the System Status Report. After taking a look at it, I would just like to point at something that may or may not be related to this Facebook issue, but that nonetheless should still be fixed soon.

Your theme has 22 outdated template overrides. Please see this guide to learn how to fix them: https://woocommerce.com/document/fix-outdated-templates-woocommerce/

If I’m understanding your initial report correctly, you’re experiencing a misbehavior in that variation attributes fail to sync to Facebook unless the product has a weight. Is that correct?

I did some testing and was unable to reproduce that behavior: created a variable product with two attributes, synced the variations to Facebook, and the attribute values showed correctly.

I imagine that I’m missing something to be able to reproduce the issue. Can you please share a step by step?

As for the issue with a product remaining on Facebook after it was unpublished in WooCommerce. Have you tried the Delete Product from Facebook option in the Edit Product page?

Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks!
