Variable pricing IDs changed numeration in latest versions
-
Hi there,
I’ve got a bunch of downloads with variable pricing, and purchase options IDs start at 0 (for example, with three options, I’ve got ID 0, 1 and 2). However, I noticed that with newly-published downloads IDs start at 1 (so that it becomes 1, 2 and 3). Is this correct? Has something really changed in latest months or is it just my fault of some kind?If this is intentional, I don’t think it’s a nice idea, because it can break custom implementations. All my downloads have variable pricing, and I’ve built a custom license system that hooks to download purchases and generates an apt license depending on the selected option. Options are the same across all products, so I rely on the ID of the chosen option. Having some downloads start at 0 and others starting at 1 messes the whole system up, so when I create a new download now I have to go into the database and manually edit the postmeta to get the IDs start all at 0 (now that I think about it, I could change all past ones to start at 1).
Thoughts? Thanks ??
