I am using the mystile theme. I upgraded my test site to the lastest woocommerce update 2.4. My variable prices in the store now come up as free on the product page but are fine in the checkout page. I only used numerical values no “$” or other values for prices and I priced each variable. I am using Canadian dollars if that changes anything. I would appreciate any ideas how I can fix this. I am stumped. I tried updating permalinks and changing themes but that did not seem to help. I also tried updating the themework and updating the theme files that woocommerce identified as outdated. That did not help either.

@stardaug This happens only with variable products created before 2.2.
No one has reported this error, then everything was ok.

@ben001 – yep ok. Thanks for that. Even if that’s the case, if I have a product for sale marked as FREE and someone attempts to buy it and can’t then what? Then they cause a problem for me saying I was false advertising, misleading etc. All the blah blah blah people will throw at you. Now I’ve got new problems to deal with.

As I said, with so many people having the same problem, its surprising the problem was missed for so long before public release. Just saying more careful testing may be order. Perhaps this is an opportunity to learn from, as to why it was missed. I haven’t been using Woo long, and not long enough to know if its solid or not. Not saying it’s bad or anything.

Ran the database updater and it appears to be fixed.

@stardaug This one was actually edge case, only affecting products made before 2.2. This is why it was missed – only established shops exhibit the issue.

Yes fixed sort of (for me). Variable product pricing now showing on front end.

I still am not seeing price input field in the admin, edit product though. It’s still missing for variable product. For me anyhow.

@claudio Sanches yes I did that, twice. The pricing should show under “general” right? Where the SKU and tax fields. I will try clearing cache again and test in chrome. I am in FF now.

Pricing is under variations. Just hit the expand link in the right hand corner
