Variable price

Hi there.

I am hoping this isn’t a really basic Q&A. I’ve been searching, but cannot find the answer!!

I’m looking for a way to charge a customer an amount which is agreed on at the time of transaction.

So basically an empty price field that i can type a price into and press the checkout button with that amount??

any ideas will be most appreciated.
