    Greetings,

First of all, I made many-a-search and tried looking back through the archives with no success. If I missed something obvious, please don’t hate me.

I’m trying to pass variables into my script from the url, as seen in some search engines, ie. index.php?q=something

How do I do this within WordPress? If I have a page I’m running code on, such as index.php/rowers, how do I pass data to it? index.php/rowers/?q=eric doesn’t work, nor does index.php/rowers?q=eric .

    Thanks,
    Eric

  • Did you solve your problem? I’m having a similar problem. When my autoresponder accesses a thank you page on my WordPress site, it includes variables in the URL. But WP errors, stating “Oops…where did you get such a link?”. I can get the page to work if there is only one variable in the URL.

    Any suggestions?

I have the exact same question. I’m guessing there is no way to do it with WP.
