Variable for Day NOT Date

    I want to know the variable to display “Day” NOT “Date”

    Is %%day%% deprecated or still in use?

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin.

    Previously, we had the %%currentday%% snippet variable but was deprecated starting in v7.7 of Yoast SEO because we see no valid use-case for it. By the way, if used in the snippet editor, it won’t appear in the snippet preview but will only show up in your source code to maintain backward compatibility, but we recommend not using it.
