@jordy Meow what were you referring to here? WC already has srcset support and thats the only change I see in 4.4

I don’t think tagging does work over here? I did copy this thread url to his wordpress support. Let us see where the culprit is.

Ok. Well, we did add srcset support for responsive images to our variations. So when the image changes, so do all the srcset props.

If there is srcset, then it should work without any issue. However, the browser decides whether or not to use the retina images ALSO depending on the mobile device bandwidth speed. If you are using 3G / 4G, I don’t think Retina images are downloaded, but if you are using wifi, they are.

I can confirm that Mike Jolley was correct, without me upgrading to WooCommerce 2.6, I already have the variabel images retinized with the WP Retina 2x plugin and without the extra plugin(picturefill fix). I disabled the extra plugin(picturefill fix) and all working perfect.

For all the people, update your WooCommerce and WordPress.

    I am running WC 2.5
    WordPress 4.5.2
    WP Retina 2x 4.5.0
