Vantage Theme – Header Changes Randomly

    Hello all!

    I have got my site set up. I come back a little later and see that my logo is HUGE and covering half of the page! I am using Firefox and found the correction to this by going to Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Logo and checking the box Constrain Logo Height.

    This did the trick for me in Firefox on all pages. However, when I went to IE and looked at the site I found the logo to be covering most of the page again. I adjusted the same setting in IE in the control panel and it resolved the issue for me.

    I had someone looking at it from their PC during all of this and they stated the problem with the logo as well. The weird thing is that only certain pages were having this problem. He was using Firefox. I had him delete his history and try again to get the same results. I then used the Flush Cache on my end to see if it would resolve the issue with no change.

    Why would this be happening? Any help would be appreciated!

  • Hi Brandon,

    I looked through your site and the theme code appears to be altered from the original code you downloaded.

    Are you running any plugins? If so, try deactivating your plugins and seeing if the logo begins to respond correctly.

    You can also upload a smaller version of your logo image (something about 200 pixels to 300 pixels wide might look quite nice on your site).

    Let me know how it goes with those two items ??

    Hi therichmonderatlarge,

    Thanks so much for your reply and suggestions. I have not heard of this happening except for on one PC where the logo is too large and not looking correct.

    NOTE: WordPress was updated to the latest version recently so it may have helped in some odd way.

    If I have any other trouble with this, I will definitely try uploading a smaller image and see if that works.
