“Vanity” urls Hiding Absolute Paths
-
Hi.
We use a “vanity” url, studenthousing, to launch our Word Press web site.
We would like that url to “hide” the absolute paths of the pages, as you click to reach them.
But, what happens is, that the absolute path is displayed. Is there a way to configure WordPress so that the vanity url will hide the absolute path?
That is, we want to see:
https://studenthousing.stanford.edu/?page_id=1269
Not
https://www.stanford.edu/dept/rde/cgi-bin/sh/wpprod/?page_id=1269Thank you.
