• Hello,

This is a great plugin — thank you!

I use it to enable a client to update content in a WordPress site I built by allowing them to update only their “posts,” which, thanks to the Insert PHP plugin, are then properly formatted and inserted into “pages” using the predetermined post ID (I have restricted the client’s access to “pages” in order to prevent mishaps).

The problem I have run into is that if the post contains a dollar sign anywhere, the dollar sign and two characters after it never show up on the page. All the other content is transferred perfectly. I know this is an issue with the plugin because the post itself displays everything perfectly; however, when the php code contained in a page “echoes” that post, the dollar sign and next two characters do not show up in the page (but still show up in the post itself).

Any help would be appreciated. Meanwhile, the workaround I have found is to use the ascii code of the dollar sign only in the text editor of WP. Viewing the post in the visual editor — even for a second — breaks it and the dollar sign vanishes from the page (but still shows up on the post).

    I hope this makes sense.

Thanks again for a great plugin!
