Our newly-installed Plugin works fine with the Chrome and Firefox browsers, but with Internet Explorer, instead of displaying the embedded PDF directly in the “target” Page, it displays a “Download the PDF” link. We’re neophytes, so we may have missed an important step along the way … would value any feedback. Thanks.

A follow up Post: It seems now, I think, that the IE browser does not allow the direct display of PDF files, so our visitors using IE will need to take that extra step of clicking the download link. Not a big deal. That said, we really like the Plugin!

Some browsers don’t suppoert embedding PDFs, unfortunately. IE might require the Adobe plugin, for example.

    Hi Mike:
Thanks for your note … we suspected that is the case.
Separate but related question: does the Plugin allow smartphone viewers to scroll through a multi-page embedded PDF?
We don’t seem to be able to do that, but maybe I missed an important setting …
    Keep up the good work!
    Thanks & regards,

It will depend on what the mobile browser supports. I imagine it should be supported, but I haven’t done any testing with mobile browsers yet, so I don’t have any specific information for you.

Yup, that makes sense … I’ll have to poke around and see what I can learn. Thanks.
