Validator now breaks V8

  • Hi Julien – thanks for the plugin and for taking time to correct matters and develop it.

    I have an issue with subsites – using Network / Multisite WP – its worked in the past – but I now notice 2 issues as of the last week or so –

    • Even setting an image in the post to be something other than the default – still posts the default image and

    • The following error in the validator for any ‘subsite’ i.e. https://www.x.y.com/blah:

      ERROR: Possibly invalid value (if specified) (twitter:description)
ERROR: Possibly invalid value (if specified) (twitter:text:description)
ERROR: Possibly invalid value (if specified) (og:description)
WARN: ?this card is redirected ....

    Its a fairly recent phenomenon. I have network deactivated the All in one SEO in case it was related to other issues -makes no difference

    Just noticed Julien that saving a draft – reloads the page with the suggest override image – which when published then makes it to Facebook.

    Forgot to mention – just in case – I’m using the Divi theme by Elegantthemes – my apologies if this would have an effect

    So – I’ve not been back to the validator – but clearly the suggested image is being used. Perhaps the validator is broken – wouldn’t be the first time!
