Validation not firing with universal google analytics tracking code

Using the new universal google analytics tracking code to track forms, form validation isn’t firing nor are the fields clearing after successfully completing the form. This is the tracking code we are using:
on_sent_ok: “ga(‘send’, ‘event’, ‘Contact Form’, ‘sent’);”
