validation messages not working

    Hi,

    when i submit invalid date (eg. 99/99/999) it simply refresh page but doesn’t show any errors on form.
    AND importantly when i submit the valid date and satisfied date than also it doesn’t redirect to page it keep on the same form but it stores the age in cookie when it satisfy date condition.

    this things work on my local when i implement the same on live site those issues i faced.

    please help me out.

    Hi @mehboob96,

    Where is your live hosting? Sounds like it probably has some caching setup on the server so you’ll want to use the Javascript version in Age Gate/Advanced.

    You’ll need to clear any caches after making the change.

    Thanks for the reply.

    It works fine for first time, when we submit the date of birth form, it redirect properly to that particular page but when we refresh the page it gives error “This site can’t be reached….” or we open the same url in new tab this error comes up.

    So can you please help me out

    Hi @mehboob96,

    Did you try using the JS version? Where are you hosting this as some hosts (WPEngine) etc need to whitelist certain cookies.

    As you say it works on local it definitely sounds like an issue at server level.

    Are you also using the latest Age Gate version?

    Thanks, Phil for your important time now it is working fine. I have tested same on “incognito window” there it works then I came to know as you said it would be a cache issue at the server side.

    Just for enhancement, there is a fraction of seconds delay for opening the form. At that time the restricted content is visible to the user. I can understand it is loaded through JS so, but still if possible.
