• Recently after the last update, I am seeing validation issues with many of my pages in webmasters. There are two issues – ‘Prohibited or invalid use of HTML Tag’ and ‘AMP markup missing or incorrect’ and I am unable to understand what’s wrong.

  • You are declaring the body tag more than once in your page. Also, turn off the minimization so it is easier to see what is going on. Minimisation is almost a waste of time and can lead to errors once it has been cached by google.

    I rolled back the plugin to version 0.9.74.1 and everything went fine. Now the pages and post are valid. It simply means there is something wrong in the update – it may be coding issue or non compatibility with some other plugin.
    I request plugin author to have a check on this issue as I have seen few other thread too having this sort of issue.
