Validation Errors not showing up

Hi,
The forms I have are showing strange error. If the user does not fill the required fields, it does not show any error message beside the field, and even the error message that appears in the yellow border beside/under the submit button only shows the border without the text. I checked that the message is written inside contact form 7 settings, but it does not show on the frontend. Even I checked with inspector, the div is empty. First I thought may be the text color matches the background, but it is not the case.
Kindly assist.
