Validation error: PayPal amounts do not match

    Hello,

    We got issues with the Paypal Plus transaction that we receive only €656.00 from the order but the actual order total is €726.4950.

    The Woocommerce Order Note shows:

    At German:

    “Validierungsfehler: PayPal-Betr?ge stimmen nicht überein (brutto 656.00, sollte 726.50 sein). Status der Bestellung von In Bearbeitung auf In Wartestellung ge?ndert.”

    Translate to English:

    “Validation error: PayPal amounts do not match (gross 656.00, should be 726.50). Order status changed from In Process to Awaiting.”

    The Currency Details:
    Currency: Euro(€)
    Price example: €726,4950 or €1.726,4950
    We have set 4 digit decimals separator, a thousand separators is a dot(.) and decimal separator is a comma (,).

    I hope you can fix the error.

    I came to know that PayPal plus doesn’t add an extra fee on a subtotal – It shows an extra fee at billing but it doesn’t add the fee in total.

    PayPal does support 2 digits only. I would recommend to use 2 only because that can cause errors.

    Wir haben dasselbe Problem mit den Nachkommastellen.
    4 Stellen kommen aus JTL dem Wawi.

    Ich habe einen Workaround gebaut, damit die Paypal Rechnung auch bei maximal 5 Cent Abweichung durch geht.

    Vielleicht hilft dir das Weiter.

    PayPal Plus will have end at support in the near future and there will not be any update anymore.
