Validation error : Firstname missing

    Hi,
    I get a validation error: “Please make sure all of the following required fields are filled out correctly: FIRSTNAME”,
    only when “Require WP membership for registration” is enabled,
    though FIRSTNAME is correctly recovered from WP profile.
    Any idea what might origin this ? Any fix ?

    Confirmed as a bug and fixed here (with some other small changes):

    As a workaround: don’t set the firstname as required when requiring WP membership, it is a readonly field anyway (in fact: disabled)

    I guess it was not the case before, since I use eme for a long time, and had the “#REQ_FIRSTNAME” in place ?

    “long time” will be difficult, since FIRSTNAME is only present after April 2015 (version 1.5.29). But the code for that never really changed since 1.5.38 (where it became possible to require the firstname too), which dates from May 21 2015.
