  • Are you using a caching plugin, or a caching server? I notice CF7 uses _wpnonce, so this problem might apply:

I am using wp super cache… i temporarily disabled it and have the same issues.
    Thanks tho.
    Erro msg is:

Using wp super cache can cause problems if not setup correctly.

?There were also some new rules released for mod_security alongside the latest release of WordPress which appear to have tightened many hosts email sending restrictions. Make sure your From: email is a valid email address – preferably one on your website domain.

This is just one of a host of issues that can stop or delay emails on both the sending and receiving ends. It depends entirely on your local Server & WordPress configuration. You will need to investigate this issue for your particular local configuration.

See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.

wp cache has been removed and the issue persists…
so it must be something else …
    any ideas?

P.S. if i was having email sending issues I think the warning i would get would be a red outline (according to CF7 documentation). Instead mine is yellow.
I am also using Contact Form DB (database plugin CFDB) which is collecting and storing the “failed attempts”…
I disabled the plugin and tested the forms again and am still getting the same error messages…
