Validation

Your link in the top-right for help that point to the jquery validation is broken. What validation plug in is required?
Also from the list of things being validated in the help, it does not show that/how a drop-down list is validated?
I have a list (with or without a blank) entry. How do I force the user to made a selection from the list?
if the list does not have a blank entry, then it is possible for the user to not make a selection and the field to validate.
If I have a blank entry, then I want to make sure the user chooses something other than that.
