    On checkout page with only the payment method WooCommerce PayPal Payments selected, checkout form fields aren’t validated before proceeding to PayPal page.
    I know that the user will be presented with an error after the PayPal popup window closes but it’s not ideal.
    will you do an update to resolve this inconvenience?

    Hi @saveriomondelliliberoit,

    The checkout validation is being worked on and the instant validation will eventually return, but it’s not so trivial of a problem to resolve.
    For the time being, while it is not ideal and causes some minor issues when the user “does the checkout wrong”, these issues are not as problematic or as common compared to how the checkout flow worked before.
    You can read more about it in the GitHub issue here.
    I can’t say when precisely, but this is one of the top priorities to be improved for the next update cycle.

    is that issue got resolved? I am still facing this issue with new “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” plugin.

    Hi,
    also in my case (I’m using v1.9.3) the issue is still present.

    When the Paypal button is clicked (on checkout page) seems not possible to execute custom validation.
    In my case custom validation are implemented inside woocommerce_after_checkout_validation hook. And it work fine when the order is confirmed without paypal.

    From an end-user point of view is a big issue see error after paypal payment.

    Does exists a solution for this?
