Howde Partner, I installed the Simple Social Icons on my website yesterday. They look fab and work just fine. The only one issue I have is that when I try to validate my code using W3C I get a warning saying “Document uses the Unicode Private Use Area(s), which should not be used in publicly exchanged documents.” For your reference the website is https://worldwp.com and its on Line 115, Column 662 does anyone have a fix for this?

    Cheers,

    Steve

The warning is telling you that your site has unicode characters (which might not be recognized in really old browsers) vs there is something wrong with your site.

The widget uses unicode characters in a particular font for the icons. If you are really set on eliminating the warning use a different social icon plugin.
