I checked your product. It seemed that you have misconfigured the terms for the linked items so each product cannot be identified as Unique in the linked variation. That’s why when you choose a term for each attribute, it always go to a “preselected” variation.

Please check to make sure: Each product has only 1 term configured for each attribute. For example, you must make sure there is only 1 product identified with “Green” for the Color and “128 GB” for the Storage. If there are more than 1 product sharing the same combination of terms, the linked variation won’t work properly.

i have check all the products ,

There is no product have the same attributes

they may both have green but they cant both have 128gb

for example

Green 128Gb

Green 256gb

the color attribute is the same

but the size attribute not the same

so is there a problem to have one attribute same and other no ?
if yes how we could make a relation between the attributes that must be green and 256Gb to go to the product

Or both can have the same color but they need a second common attribute where they can be distinguished, such as Size.

• product A: color – red, size – S
• product B: color – red, size – M

this from the documentation

so it is possible to have this .

i think there is a problem that don’t make the plugin work ?
Why it is not working

Yes, if you have checked the settings and are sure that there is no duplicated terms used for more than 1 product, then it should be working properly.

I re-read your thread and seem to get your point. Here are some things that I would like to mention for your case:

1/ When clicking on a color, the product page will be redirected to the corresponding product with that color configured in the Attributes tab. However, unlike when you keep these as the variation in the same parent variable product, the linked variations are in fact separate products, so when you make the selection of any attribute (either color or size first), the other attributes must be selected after the first attribute is loaded so the corresponding option will be displayed properly and all the available choices are checked to be in stock for the buyers to choose.

For example: when you click on the Green color, all products with Green configured inside will be loaded first. So next, buyers can continue to choose products that are available/in stock with the color they want. If your store only has Green iPhone with 128 GB storage available, the 512 GB button will be disabled in the next screen. This is to make sure the selection is valid and loaded products are available for purchase.

The same procedure goes with choosing the second attribute, then third attribute, etc. It’s like a procedure to filter products with buyer preferences, but in the form of loading related variations inside a linked product instead of loading different products using the filters in the shop.

2/ Why is it always the 128 GB loaded when choosing a color? Because the 128 GB is configured first in the term list of the Storage attribute on your site. As you might already knew, users can rearrange the terms to change the order of the storage options in the Products >> Attributes section. If you change to 512 GB first then 128 GB, when clicking on a color, the phones with corresponding color and 512 GB storage will be loaded first.

This is also the way you can make use of the term order to encourage customers to choose the most popular choice of all.

3/ I can confirm that the variation selection on your site is working properly after several tests. It’s just that the selection is made from each attribute must be made one by one, which is different from choosing the variations inside the standard variable products.

You can test this on our live demo here: https://demo.wpclever.net/wpclv/product/cap-small/. It’s working similarly to your site. This isn’t an error or bug, it’s just how our plugin works.

After these messages i have check again
and the demo site you sent me is working perfectly not the same as my site
In my site it is not responding correct
for example if im in 128GB GREEN
AND I PRESS 256GB BUTTON it will redirect to 256GB BLACK
AND IT NOT OK !
So There Is A problem with plugin with new update of woocomerce maybe ?
or i dont know how could we make this thing goes good
in your site also its invinidual products and work perfectly so it may have a problem with new update or something
It is an important issure that i need help with it
check my site good and you will see that the variations not working good at all .

also in your demo live test
if i choose medium and go to any other product it still on medium and transfer perfect

Hi @waeljaber ,

The loading process is the same as Color attribute when you choose a Storage option. When pressing the 256 GB button, Black is loaded first in the list since “B” starts your term list for the color attribute.

With your current term order, when:

• clicking on a Color, 128 GB will be loaded as the default storage
• clicking on a Storage, Black will be loaded as the default color

Please check your term order to make sure things load as you prefer.

and im pretty sure for every thing
i do all the tests for the plugin when it up for more than 3 or products with one attribute same and another no
it does not work right
in a new site also tried the same problem so its gonna be not from me
can we check ?

The thing is, when I checked it on your site from my end here, I found that the selection was correct to me.

You can check my video here: https://app.screencast.com/IoQuIv5PIe4ZO. All the selection is kept after I click on a term for any attribute.

Right after loading the page for the first time, the Blue 128 GB is shown. Then I changed the variation. The last selected attribute in the previous screen is kept when I click on a new variation in the next screen.

This is the correct working mechanism of this plugin. Please note that the selection process won’t be the same as the standard variable products. Only 1 term for each attribute is chosen.

If it’s different from your end, please make sure caches and cookies have been cleared completely from your site and browser.

If possible, could you kindly make screen recording video for me to see how it works from your end.

I also have this problem and it didnt do this before.

In link provided if I select colour Blue and change the Diary , the Diary changes but colour also changes back to Black. Before it use to stay on the colour selected.
