    Hi everyone.

I helped develop a content heavy WordPress website for my client whose intention is to provide AdSense ads for the site.

    ————–

The website has twice been rejected with this canned response:
We’ve found policy violations on https://formsofaddress.info that are preventing your site from being approved:

    Site Behavior: Navigation

As stated in our Program policies, sites or apps displaying Google ads should provide substantial and useful information to the user. Users should be able to easily navigate through the site or app to find what products, goods, or services are promised. Examples of misguided navigation include, but are not limited to:

    • False claims of downloadable or streaming content
    • Linking to content that does not exist
    • Redirecting users to irrelevant and/or misleading webpages
    • Text on a page unrelated to the topic and/or business model of the website.

    ——–

Note:t here are no false claims of any sort.

The site’s content is 100% original.

There are no broken links that I am aware of.

We have 301 redirects in our .htaccess for from .php files for the old site to the equivalent WP pages. This should not be a violation, it’s good web maintenance.

The content is of each page is relevant to the site.

I am stumped as to why the site is being rejected. If anyone have any leads or ideas I’d appreciate hearing from you.

  • @davidfhannes thanks for the topic!

Our scope of support doesn’t address the Adsense review and approval process, but you can certainly reach out the experts at the Adsense Help Center who will have better context for what you describe.

I can confirm that Site Kit has appropriately placed the Adsense snippet on the site, so the next step would be with Adsense directly.

    Hi Renee

    Thank you for your reply.

It is an impossible process to reach a human. Thus my reach out on a forum board for ideas.

Seems like Google AdSense doesn’t want to talk to unhappy applicants. Here is what the ‘1-8—Live-person’ page sent me after reaching out via: https://support.google.com/adsense/gethelp

? To contact a live person in Google Adsense via e-mail or live chat you will need a working account with Adsense and also a certain revenue per month. Click help on top right and then under “Contact us” select e-mail option. If this option is not visible it means your account is not eligible for e-mail or live chat support.

As you’d expect …. On my page, top right, there is no “Help” !

    It’s a catch 22 process.

I understand, you are not the first Site Kit user reaching out for AdSense specific queries. Unfortunately we don’t have access to users AdSense accounts and we’re also unable to review sites for approval.

Within the same email you received there should be some options such as suggestions on how to address the highlighted reasons. If you post your query on the AdSense Help Center and you find you don’t get a timely response from an AdSense product expert the community may also be able to advise you better than we can here.

Sorry we can’t be of more assistance.

@davidfhannes Just following up to check whether you’ve received any updates from the AdSense team? If so we’d be happy to ensure Site Kit is working as expected with the AdSense module connected.
