Hello and thank you for your hard work!
I’ve upgraded the plugin to versions 6.0.0, 6.0.1, and 6.0.2 and none of them work with my theme (Bam Pro). The issue for me is that the widgets that are marked as “fixed widgets” disappear from the website when I upgrade to the 6.x.x versions… they are no longer visible (my two fixed widgets are located on the sidebar at the very bottom).
I’ve tried with the “Test new version” option enabled and disabled, I deleted the cache after each upgrade/downgrade, I’ve tried with several different browsers, etc. Nothing works for me.
If I uncheck the “Fixed widget” option on the widgets, they appear again with version 6.x.x of the plugin.

The only version that works for me is 5.3.0. Any suggestions are welcome, I’m here to help. Thank you!

    Hi @nestormarius,

    thanks for reaching out!

Would it be possible to enable 6.0.2 for an hour for me to investigate?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Hi Thomas, I’ve enabled v6.0.2. Should I also enable the “Test new version” option?

P.S. I will disable it in 1 hour. Thank you!

    Thank you.

I believe the issue could be connected to AdSense.
Could you make another widget sticky, one that contains static content and no ads?

    Thanks

I guess you’re right. Check the website now, I’ve added a test widget at the bottom of the sidebar and it works, but for some reason it scrolls with the last AdSense widget. What do you suggest I do next? Thank you!

I have problems finding a page that is long enough. Could you send me a specific link?

I guess I forgot to mention that the fixed widgets I use with AdSense are provided by the Ad Inserter plugin. Maybe I should add them manually?

If I disable the ads on the website, the fixed widget works without issues, so it looks like the problem is with AdSense code indeed.

I will downgrade to v5.3.0 for now. Thank you for your help!

I see v6.0.2 is now officially out with a fallback mode for themes that don’t support the newer settings, but it’s still not working with my theme ??

    Hi nestormarius,

    thanks for your patience.

I just uploaded version 6.0.4 with various fixes, including reacting on changes caused by elements that load with a delay (= ads). Please check if it helps in your situation.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Hi, I’ve updated to v6.0.4 and it looks like we’re making progress ?? The widgets appear, but when I scroll them they quickly disappear. Any ideas?

Thanks for your feedback. I have seen such behavior also on another site and am positive that we will be able to ship a fix with the next update.

    Have a great weekend.

    Hi @nestormarius,

I just uploaded version 6.0.5 for testing. It resolves an issue with fixed widgets overlapping unfixed widgets when scrolling up. I have reason to believe that the underlying issue we fixed could also be responsible for the behavior on your site.

Please give it a try and let me know if you can still see an issue.

    Thanks,
    Thomas
