    Hi,

    this is (was!) an excellent plugin. I use it on a couple of sites, and hope to use it on on more once current V5.x issues are fixed…..

    I’ve got a particular problem using V5.x which involves a shortcode to embed shortcodes for the ‘shortcodes ultimate’ plugin.

    Here’s an example which embeds a button:

    [sc_contact_for_smarter_apps] ->

    [su_button url=”https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/228bdbeed69a407b896bd412bc38f7b0″ target=”blank” style=”flat” background=”#006794″ size=”10″ center=”yes” radius=”10″]Contact our Sales Team for more information [/su_button]

    Will V5.x support embedding other shortcodes like this ??

    I appreciate the need for developing V5.x – keep up the good work!!

    Hi @mikepfive,

    You can embed shortcodes in shortcode content and there is no restriction.

    What is the issue you are facing ?

    Can you please share screenshots of the shortcode content and the output ?

    thanks for getting back to me so quickly – appreciated.

    Looks like this was MY Problem! (sorry)

    I Updated to V5.0.4 this morning on one of the sites I use the plugin on, refreshed a page where it’s used to display an (often used, Shortcodes Unlimited Plugin) button – and the button simply disappeared. Without further testing I concluded that this must be linked to the ‘completely rewritten’ plugin. But, now, when I ran the test again – this time in a staging environment – all was well!

    And when I updated the Live Site – no problems either!!

    No idea what was happening earlier today ??

    Sorry to waste your time – which is much better spent enhancing your excellent ( and much appreciated ) plugin……
