v5.7 ‘wpcf7_form_novalidate’ hook removed (alternatives?)

Hi,

The release of Contact Form 7 v5.7 removes the hook ‘wpcf7_form_novalidate’ which made possible to remove the novalidate attribute on the <form>. (Release Notes: https://contactform7.com/2022/12/10/contact-form-7-57/)

Are there any alternatives now ? Why was the hook removed in the first place ?

We are working with 40+ websites with our own JS validation logic which are now broken because of the missing hook and no other way to remove the novalidate attribute
