v4 is a downgrade

This used to be an amazing plugin (still is for basic use), but the current version v4 doesn’t feel like an upgrade (how I use it).

I use this plugin in combination with Elementor in v3 this was easy to use and implemented in eventin. But in v4 they took the integration out. If u want to use elementor u need to go through some hoops to get to the old interface that is still accessible in v4. Or you need to downgrade the plugin to an older version.

[2-07: fixed with 4.02] Another change that happened is that you now need to pay (go pro) to have a “logo” (feature image) for your event. So in v4 all your event will have no image in lists.

[2-07: fixed with 4.02] Now v4 you can now upload a banner for an event (used to be pro) but the banner will only be used for: Place banner to event page. Banner will be displayed in Event template 2 and template 3 (both pro templates).

[Update: Might be a bug] Also removed the organiser preview in the event view (changed it to a filter). So you are now forced to use a pro feature to show who organised the event via speakers.

If u want to add an image to your event description you can’t choose an already uploaded image. If you want to use an already uploaded image you need to go to the media library and copy the url.

Changed a lot of things but barely updated the documentation.

These are just a couple of points I found out, there might be more.
