v303; publish goes to a blank screen

  • After upgrading to v3.0.3 I’ve noticed that once I hit publish the browser remains at …blog/wp-admin/post.php but the screen remains blank.

    The post is made successfully, but it seems something is hanging.

    Anyone run into this & is there solution or workaround?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?

    Thanks for the suggestions, very much appreciated. I’ll have to try some tinkering and see if I can narrow down what might be causing it.
