v3.9.4 not working on WP 6.2.2

    I upgraded to Widget Options v3.9.4 and a few things are not working correctly. All of my previous widget settings are working correctly. However, if I edit any widget or create a new widget, and I change or try to use the widget options, they are not working correctly. For example, if I try to set a widget to only show on the Home/Frontpage or if I try to set a widget to only show on a specific page (like my SHOP page), it does not work. It will not show at all. I have tried uninstalling widget options, cleared my WP cache and even disabled the cache, cleared all my browser settings; and still the same issue is still happening. Please help, thank you… and oh, your plug-in has always been awesome!!!

    Also, just in case it helps… I am using the Storefront theme in WP.

    Hi @scarpace , We released v3.9.5 that includes fixes for this case. Can you please update and let me know how it goes?

    Yes, I updated the plugin and now the “Show on checked pages” features is working correctly when I choose a Post Type and select my page titled “Shop”. However, if I choose the “Home/Frontpage” option under the Misc tab, it still does not work correctly. This may have something to do with the fact that I have my “Shop” page set as the default home page for my wordpress. None the less, the Post Type options is working correctly again, so… THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! ??

    Hi @scarpace ,

    Glad to know it is now working. You are indeed correct in stating that the default homepage, which is your Shop page, will work on post type settings but not in misc. To address this, you may consider adding an additional widget to control its visibility on your default page.
