After updating to v3.3.6, the reusable blocks option no longer is available. On my site I disabled ALL plugins and activated them one by one. Reusable blocks is available with all of my other plugins activated. But when I activate NextGen Gallery, the option isn’t available. I tried activating ONLY NextGen Gallery with all other plugins deactivated, and reusable blocks isn’t available.

    Hi @echelonwebdesign,

I am sorry but we couldn’t replicate any issues with Gutenberg’s Reusable Blocks caused by NextGen Gallery. Even more, I could both add NextGen’s block as a Reusable Block and then insert it new.

Can you please try to test on a local or staging instance with just NextGen Gallery and a theme from the Twenty series enabled to see if you will be able to replicate the issue?

I had a very similar issue on one site that I manage. I was able to take some time recently to dig in and debug a bit after keeping the version below v3.3.6 for a couple of months.

It ended up being calls to apply_filter('the_content', $content); in 3 Advanced Custom Fields block templates. I haven’t gone any further, and I determined that the the_content filter wasn’t needed in those areas for my purposes.

It seems that a filter from NextGen was added around this time. Hopefully, this could help narrow down the issue for you guys.
