Plugin won’t display Lottie animations unless using v3.0.5. Lots of errors showing in the log file for this plugin (v3.3.2). Running PHP v8.3. What’s going on?

    Hi,

I’m sorry for the inconvenience! There’s a new update out now – let me know if the problem persists.

Still not working. It’s causing a server error and website goes down. Using version 3.3.4, PHP 8.3, Elementor 3.25.4, Elementor Pro 3.25.

Hi, I’m really sorry! 3.3.4 contained a bug which snuck by me. There a new update out now that should fix the issue.

I updated to v3.3.7 and it’s not causing the site/server to crash but the lottie animations don’t display. v3.0.5 will display the lottie animations.

I checked the error logs and getting –

PHP Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /wp-content/plugins/am-lottieplayer/includes/builders/elementor/widgets/elementor-am-lottieplayer.php on line 933

I see. Try with the latest update.

BTW: I’m really sorry for all the hassle lately. I’ve made some major changes in order to make the plugin more maintainable in the future. So far it has had the opposite effect. ??

Updated to v3.3.8 and still not displaying. I noticed in your change log you stated Divi update. We’re using Elementor v3.25.4. Sorry this is happening! Your plugin worked well and hope we can resolve this issue.

I think I know what happened. Try now

Still not displaying in v3.8.9. Tested using PHP 8.1 and 8.3. Darn!

That’s strange. Is it the same error message?

    (@joesmith7777)

I’m not seeing any errors in the server log files. When I turn off “Play on scroll, when visible in viewport.” (in Elementor AM Lottie Settings) the lottie will display. Problem is I need that turned on so the lottie doesn’t display/play until they scroll down the page to the lottie.

Ok, so it’s displaying – it’s just not playing?

It displays and plays if I turn that option off – “Play on scroll, when visible in viewport.” (in Elementor AM Lottie Settings). I need that option ON because the lottie is at the bottom of the page so the animation is finished by the time the user scrolls to the bottom of the page.

I see. I think I found the error now! ??

BEAUTIFUL! That fixed it! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I really appreciate the follow ups and getting this worked out. Your plugin is the only Lottie player I’ve found that plays correctly. Thanks again!

Thank God it finally worked! ??
