V2.3 Error Deleting Spam Users
-
When deleting Spam Users from the user database, I am asked to reassign or delete topics posted by that user.
There is a plethora of SQL errors on the following page if I delete those users posts.
Afterwards the user is deleted (most times there are no posts to delete as the spammers are only subscribers who’s spam wound up in the comments if at all) but there is no way to continue onward, managing the user base.
I’m also finding that User management only sorts by role. with over 600 users on my blog I would like more options in maintaining my user base.
There are some very good plugins for data management and e-mail lists, or even importing users from other applications, but hardly any of them use the wp_user SQL tables, or allow you to effectively manage the existing users in the database. (like removing blocks of users who’s e-mails are bouncing)
any and all suggestions appreciated on better user management for admins.
