V2.1.3 changes backup directory

I have this plugin installed on a few sites and they have all reacted the same way after this version update.
The plugin creates a new directory in the uploads folder and stores the backups there. I then have to re-configure the excludes to exclude the previous “backups” directory where the earlier version had stored the backups….?
In every other respect, the plugin works quite well
