I selected this option hoping it would only be the check but I had to click on the images as well which is what I DONT want. What happened to only having to click the checkbox and that’s it?

    Hello @infernoprime

Thank you for using our plugin.

You are prompted to also click on the images because the Google reCAPTCHA service thinks your traffic is not legitimate. This does not happen if Google reCAPTCHA thinks the traffic is fine.

This might happen if you’ve set the reCAPTCHA service to be very secure / strict. You can change this and lower the strictness level from the slider option called Security Preference in the Google reCAPTCHA Admin interface.

Can you please move the slider option towards the Easiest for Users and advise if that helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yep, that did it thanks. Now does this still keep bots away that could potentially create spam accounts by adjusting that?

I am glad to read that it solved the issue. To answer your question, the stricter the CAPTCHA check is, the more bots it will block. The less strict it is, the easier it is for bots. It’s about finding the right balance, so run a few tests for yourself and see what is best.

Should you have any other questions do not hesitate to ask. By the way, please spare a minute to rate our plugin and support. These reviews really help us.

    Have a great day.
