    Hi there,
At some point in the last week or so, emails being sent by WP with pdf attachments via Mailgun are arriving at Mailgun with the attachment stripped out. Emails sent from Outlook using the same Mailgun account have their attachments intact, so this would appear to be a post-smtp problem.
Is it possible to get a version from about 2 weeks ago to test against?
    Thanks

    Hi @neilatw

I hope you are doing well.

We have updated the MailGun SDK just reconfigure the MailGun with Post SMTP and then test it and let me know.

Old version you can download from here. (See page bottom).

    Thanks

    Thanks for the quick response.
I have reconfigured Mailgun in the Post SMTP settings, but now get the following error in the logs:
“Code: 401, Message: Unauthorized, Body: Forbidden”
I have rolled back to the previous version for the moment (which works fine), but I would appreciate a fix for the current version.
    Thanks

Correction to the above: While v2.2.3 appears to work OK, it is not passing emails through to Mailgun.
So I am back with v2.3.1 but relying 100% on my fallback SMPT server for sending as nothing is being processed through Mailgun.

@neilatw Let us check your case on our end, and we will get back to you; in the meantime; please share Post SMTP diagnostic test report.

    Thanks

I am also having the same issue with attachments not working with the latest version and the Mailgun API. My forms plugin developer suggested I revert back to version 2.2.2 to get it to work. I can confirm there are no issues with 2.2.2. Please let me know when you have a solution for this.

You should be able to use the same workaround that I have been using: still using Mailgun, but switch to using SMTP login rather than the API.
    Hope that helps.

@neilatw Thanks for the info. I’ll probably just stick with 2.2.2 for now until a proper fix can be made.

We are working on it and will get back to you shortly with updates.

    Thanks

I experienced the same problem as others. Suddenly no more attachments in emails sent via Mailgun. Rollback to version 2.2.2 fixed the problem. Please post an update here when the problem is resolved.

I can confirm as well that attachments are now working again in version 2.4.3.
