V2.2 update broke bbPress topics

I am running your 404 plugin on my site along with the latest version of WP and the the Twenty Fourteen theme. I just upgraded to the latest version and found that the update broke my bbPress forums. The symptom is that the original topic post in all of our forum was display as blank. I rolled back to the 2.1 version of the 404 plugin and the problem disappeared. I had set the 2.2 plugin in compatibility mode but this did not resolve the the bbPress problem that was created by the V2.2 update. Can you please help me to resolve the problem so that I can upgrade to v2.2?
