Jigoshop v2 has a problem with *any* shortcodes.

For instance
[audio mp3="/path/to/file.mp3"][/audio]

will not work within a product description.

This is true whether or not the shortcode plugin is present and activated.

Jigoshop v2 does *not* break shortcodes on pages or posts which exist outside of Jigoshop.

In the next release of Jigoshop eCommerce – which will probably be ~Monday – we’ll fix this, since the “product_description” field is now only echoed, not called via “do shortcode” ??

just installed the latest release (2.0.8). This issue has not been addressed.

Actually it has been addressed – could you explain what issue are you experiencing?

I’m using this short code…

[jigoshop_category slug=”events” per_page=”8″ columns=”4″ order_by=”name” pagination=”yes”]

and it no longer works… products don’t show. Is there a fix coming or has the short codes changed for the jigoshop ecommerce?
