    Hi!

I wanted to report that, since v1.7.0, this plugin breaks the license renewal/new payments links in Easy Digital Downloads Software Licensing plugin.

    Steps to reproduce the issue:

    • Rollback to KB Support v1.68 on a system with Easy Digital Downloads and Software Licensing installed and configured.
    • Follow any license renewal links in a private window, e.g. https://yourdomain.com/checkout/?nocache=true&edd_license_key=123456789&download_id=1234
    • You should now see a checkout page, with the product’s details, user personal fields to fill, and a link to buy make the pay vía paypal
    • Now, update to KB Support v1.7.0 on that same system and follow the same steps.
    • You’ll see that you get a “Your cart is empty” message on screen and you’re unable to continue checkout.

I only just found out about it. Hopefully this can be resolved. In the meantime, I will stay on version 1.6.8. Thanks in advance!

    Dear Pacoelflaco,

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.

First and foremost, we highly recommend proceeding with the 1.7.0 update, as it is a critical update.

We did not observe any incompatibility between version 1.7.0 and EDD. We installed both the EDD and EDD Software Licensing plugins, activated the renewals, and everything worked seamlessly. We conducted our tests using the following parameters: /checkout/?nocache=true&edd_license_key=xxxx&download_id=xx

    You can check screenshot: https://cln.sh/14CKCc1W

Could you please try deactivating the other plugins you are using and testing again?

Do you have any specific configurations for EDD? If so, could you provide further details?

    Best Regards,
    KB Support Team

Thank you for responding so quickly.

Indeed, it is not EDD’s problem. I have noticed that a blank page appears when the plugin is activated and I try to make any updates to my site settings (tested on 2 different WP installations).

When I activate the plugin in its latest version (1.7.0), if I go to
https://MySite/wp-admin/options-general.php and change any option, when saving the changes, its redirects to https://MySite/wp-admin/options.php instead of https://MySite/wp-admin/options-general.php and a blank page appears and in the address bar appears

It happens the same if I try to activate/deactivate a plugin, change theme, etc…

If I deactivate the plugin, everything is fine.

On a test site I have, I have left only the KB Support plugin and the same thing happens.

Again, thank you very much for everything!

PD: WordPress 6.6.2, without cache plugins
