Version 1.6.21 of weForms has caused my RSVP form to display an error message when users click the SUBMIT button (see image below). There is no description of the error in the message – just a red exclamation mark/point.

This error only started to appear after the plugin updated itself to v1.6.21 – it didn’t happen under v.1.6.20. I haven’t changed anything on the form or my website. Users who submitted the form before the update to v.1.6.21 had no problems submitting the form.

I have already contacted your support desk for assistance, and have been refused help because I don’t have a license key. I find this very disappointing, as the problem seems to have been caused by the plugin itself, rather than me manually changing any settings in weForms or WordPress.

Can you please help? This is very frustrating!

Hi thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry you had trouble accessing the forum. I inspected your form and it looks like you have some errors in your browser console. It might the form setup that’s causing this error but I’m not exactly sure. This error message stood out to me in the console:

    Incorrect use of <label for=FORM_ELEMENT>

You should inspect all errors in the console because this is likely tied to the formatting of your form or a JavaScript issue.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Brandon,

Looking at those errors, the labels have the form’s ID number (346) appended to them in the code, when the labels in the form don’t have that number attached to them. Is that correct?

This is all very confusing because the form didn’t generate the error until the most recent plugin update. What’s going on?

Thanks skylarkenvoy, I can’t be positive as to what’s happening and because Multi-Step is a premium weForms feature I’m very limited in how I can assist you in the WordPress forum.

You mentioned that you you had trouble accessing weForms Support from your dashboard and that you didn’t have a license key. I think that is the source of your issue, you are unable to access the premium functionalities of weForms because you are no longer under subscription. You will likely need to log in to your weForms account and address your account details.

I hope this helps and I do understand your inconvenience.
