The latest update to this plug-in says it has not been tested with the most current version of WordPress. Is that correct?

Are you referring to a notification like the one below?

Please note, WooCommerce plugins are constantly releasing updates, and they also have a life cycle, when there is a new extension update it will need some time to update that notification. May I ask are you receiving errors on the site because of this? If so, please let us know.

It is important to back up your site before updating Square, or try updating it on your staging site. To learn more about backing up, please check our documentation here.

I did not update the plug-in yet since it says it has not been tested with my version of WordPress (6.1.1).

    Hello @earmsbyhpc,

I run WordPress 6.1.1 on both of my test sites and the plugin works fine. I will ask the team to update the front page in the next release but as a general rule, if there was any compatibility issues, we would definitely declare it.

That said, you can make a backup of your site before updating it just in case you encounter a plugin/theme conflict.

    Cheers!

Went ahead and updated it. No issues detected so far. Seems to be working fine.
