• MyBookTable automatically updated to v 3.3.6 and took my site down. Visitors got an error message and I couldn’t log it. My host was able to move me back to 3.3.5 and everything is working fine.

Mine too. It was not 3.3.6 though but the professional upgrade crashed the site after the basic plugin had been upgraded to 3.3.6. The basic version 3.3.6 works but the professional upgrade doesn’t.

There is now a v 3.3.7 Pro update.

My website crashed because of the mybooktable plugin. I had to disable it to get the site back up, but now the book links don’t work.

Same thing happened to me. Whatever upgraded last night took my site down with a fatal error too.

There is now an update: v 3.3.7 Pro.

My host moved me back to v 3.3.5 and turned off the auto-updates. That got my site working, along with the plugin, albeit not with the post current version.

Then I manually updated the pro plugin to v 3.3.7.

Next I manually updated the basic version to v 3.3.6.

Everything’s been working fine for me since then.

(But I’m leaving the auto-updates turned off!)

so how do you manually updte to these things?

I want to remove this plugin altogether and I’m unable to do so. I’ve contacted WordPress support but does anyone have tips?

https://wordpress.com/plugins/manage? It wouldn’t let me delete/remove the plugin – either the original or the upgrade.

Wait, Peter, you added the newest Pro and then “downgraded” to the Basic? Pro no longer works, period? And how are you accessing the updates if the auto-updates are the problem?
