UTM Tags in URL (PHP GET variables) cause no show
-
Hi,
Love the plugin!
Only 1 challenge is coming up. And that is that we use UTM tags — from https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1033867?hl=en — to identify different traffic sources on our site.
With this plugin, if we put these variables on a URL, it causes the plugin to not show up at all. Digg Digg works, but this plugin does not. I don’t want to use Digg Digg for various reasons though!
So let’s talk about fixing this…
Here is a live example:
URL: https://www.zealousinfluence.com/free-seo-for-lawyers/
URL with tags: https://www.zealousinfluence.com/free-seo-for-lawyers/?utm_source=wordpress&utm_medium=supportforum&utm_term=diggdiggalternative
Like I said, Digg Digg sees through this and works so I’m hoping it is a basic fix. I know people use these kinds of tags all over the web so it should just call the real permalink and load the plugin no prob!
Please fix ASAP! ??
Cheers,
Zeal
PS It looks like the plugin flat out isn’t loading when the URL variables are there. Weird?
