Great idea for the plugin, but I’m unable to see it working properly.

I don’t see this screen on any orders.
    https://ps.w.org/utm-leads-tracker-lite/assets/screenshot-1.png?rev=1726945

I tested by using a link with all UTM parameters:
    ?utm_source=testsource&utm_medium=testmedium&utm_campaign=testcampaignname&utm_term=best%20keywords&utm_content=textlink

Then, I made an WooCommerce order and checked Order details screen. The plugin description says it seamlessly integrates with WooCommerce but I have never seen screen above, and the wider panel I do see shows blank / nothing for when I make an order using the UTM parameters.

Can you confirm if this plugin works?
If so, then why is the above screen missing?
Why can it not retrieve the UTM parameters?

Looking forward to your response. Thank you.

    Hi Charlie,

We use this plugin on our own WooCommerce site and it works well.

Some servers(or hostings) may have cookie restrictions or block them.

Can you check if cookies are being set? https://i.imgur.com/TEgLa7l.png

If not you can send us link to the site so we can check at our end.

You can also contact us via our support desk https://xlplugins.com/support/ to get a swifter reply.

    Thanks

    Hi Charlier,

One more thing, this screen is modified in 1.1 version.
    Older – https://i.imgur.com/1DvpO7j.png
    Newer – https://i.imgur.com/L3SFttp.png

As daman suggested look for the cookie if cookie present then makes an order.

    Thanks,
    Aman

Hi Daman and Aman – Thanks to both of you for the responses.

Based on your response, I was able to ask the WPengine (our host) to update their caching settings and also to whitelist the cookie for xlutm_ so that the plugin can work as intended. It does now.

As plugin developers, we appreciate such plugins that make our lives easier. I’ve left you a 5-star review as this is a wonderful plugin.

I wish it could do the same for Contact forms, but I see that may be upcoming. Cheers and keep up the good work.

    Thanks!

    Hi Charlie,

Glad that you were able to figure out the issue.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Appreciate it ??

Yes, we have plans to build Gravity Forms/Contact Forms integration next. Matter of time before we allocate this project more resources.

    Marking this thread as resolved.

    Thanks
    Daman

Hi, I’m having similar issue – I can only see the section XL UTM Stats, but there are no field / boxes in that section.
There are some fields in the “Custom Fields” section, which is mainly used by a different plugin (Infusionsoft / InfusedWoo) – not sure if this is causing some sort of clash?

Re the cookies – I can only see “xlutm_params_first_occurrence”.
Here my full tracking link in case you wanted to check yourself: https://kickassmuse.com/product/little-school-buddhism/?utm_source=infst&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=oct2w&inf_contact_key=0ef306a32b7dd547dcee4556fa2c828d41a374b806ec241e5f09243e6c95ced9

I’m not sure if there is an issue with the setup or if I’m doing something wrong or if something is blocked from the host side?

    Thanks,
    Jay

    Hi @jay13,

Kindly create a fresh ticket as this ticket is of another person and already solved.

I visited your link and cookies set in the browser.
    See https://i.imgur.com/otwZkVF.png

Can you create a test order after hitting the link and look for UTM metabox on the single order?

There shouldn’t be an issue as we are using it on our own website along with 200+ users.

Kindly don’t revert on the same ticket and create a fresh one if you aren’t able to figure out.

Note: make sure the cookies are white-listed. Some WP managed hostings block the cookie read. So, if the system won’t able to read, it won’t save the data in the DB.

    Thanks!
